Configuration Engineer

Job Summary
The Configuration Engineer at UCT will review and ensure configurations accuracy, create and submit Engineering Changes through Agile, and maintain sales order BOM. Key duties include coordinating ECOs and managing customer product information such as BOMs and part numbers. The role requires close collaboration with internal and external customers to resolve configuration issues and proficiency in engineering documentation. Candidates must have a degree in Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience
- Knowledge with engineering documentation and document control procedures
- Able to read technical drawing and mechanical BOM
- Basic understanding of Industrial Equipment manufacturing
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency with MS suite and Adobe Acrobat
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- Design experience
