Configuration Developer (XML / FireLight)

Job Summary
Configure and maintain business rules within the FireLight platform, developing and troubleshooting XML-based configurations for Role Codes, Review Queues, and mapping documents. Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements analysis, testing, and deployment, while resolving tickets using Jira. Perform unit and integration testing to ensure quality and compliance, utilizing AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Requires 1–3 years of experience in configuration or technical support, with strong XML skills and FireLight expertise. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in a configuration or technical support role
- Strong XML development and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with FireLight
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Jira, Notepad++, and Adobe Acrobat
- Knowledge of the insurance or financial services industry
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
