Job Summary
Support application build, integration, and deployment across backend systems and client devices while managing system environments and supporting testing. Monitor system performance and health to coordinate technical issues, then design, maintain, and automate CI/CD pipelines for ASP.NET applications. Administer and troubleshoot IIS hosting, liaise with vendors for resolution, and deploy development environments in Azure. This remote role serves an EU public sector client and welcomes candidates from Greece and across Europe.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is mandatory (ICT relevant)
- At least 8 years of IT relevant professional experience
- At least 3 years of project experience in a similar Configuration/Deployment role
- Hands-on knowledge of Azure DevOps
- CI/CD management of mission-critical, complex enterprise systems
- Administering and troubleshooting ASP.NET applications on Microsoft IIS (application pools, websites, bindings, SSL certificates, authentication)
- Active Directory integration, Group Policies, service accounts and Windows security concepts
- Designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for ASP.NET applications
- Git-based workflows
- Strong, demonstrable experience with: Automating application deployments and environment configuration updates
- Good knowledge of software release management
- Knowledge of RUP and/or Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of application servers, RDBMS and common build/deployment tools (e.g., Ant, Azure Pipelines)
- Excellent communication skills - comfortable in multi-lingual meetings and international/multicultural teams
- English at B2 level (CEFR) or higher
