Job Summary
Provision and configure IT devices based on customer requirements by following specific written work instructions. Unbox, re-box, and process equipment for shipping while performing basic kitting. Clean, test, and inspect IT devices to ensure proper functioning before shipment. Escalate technical or other issues to your immediate supervisor and participate in internal departmental meetings. Offer suggestions on improving processes and efficiencies. Maintain a high degree of quality in work product and complete all assigned tasks in a timely and cost-efficient manner. This entry-level role supports the Configuration Center team, with opportunities for advancement in the IT industry.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Less than 6 points on license
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to carry
- Ability to stand
- Ability to bend
- Ability to transport IT equipment
- Ability to use basic tools (screwdriver)
- Ability to use cleaning solutions
- Ability to tear down and rebuild of IT components
- Ability to type
- Ability to work from a computer monitor
- Written communication

- Read basic work instructions
- Minimum of 1 year of experience (preferred)
- Relevant training that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
