Job Summary
Plan and implement configuration management and data management processes aligned with Dematic standards, business needs, and industry best practices. Serve as a key contributor to Teamcenter as the system of record for engineering documents, product structures, Bills of Material, configuration control, PLC software, and simulation data. Plan, coordinate, and manage engineering documentation including drawings, specifications, solution deliverables, and change documentation. Analyze proposed design or configuration changes to assess impact on product structures, downstream manufacturing, and customer-specific solutions. This 6-18 month contract-to-hire role in Grand Rapids, MI requires a self-starter with 5+ years of experience in configuration management, Teamcenter, and SAP VC to support product configuration and variant management in a fast-evolving digital engineering environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- Hands-on experience in configuration management
- Experience using Siemens Teamcenter and SAP VC
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience administering or supporting Teamcenter PLM
- Strong understanding of Product structures and BOMs
- Strong understanding of Engineering drawings and standards
- Experience supporting product configuration and variant management
