Job Summary
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions and manage client projects within scope and budget. Create, update, and manage project schedules using Microsoft Project or approved tools while controlling scope, budget, and activities to ensure profitability. Regularly track, report, and analyze project status through status meetings and client-facing reports. Manage risk, change, and issue registers; plan and schedule project activities with clients. Facilitate discussions to resolve blockers and escalate issues to stakeholders as necessary. Create monthly forecasts for executive management and facilitate Executive Steering Committee meetings. Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences to establish productive relationships with customer stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of project management experience with increasing scope of responsibility
- Experience in crafting project proposals, developing work estimates and project schedules related to a fixed support budget and enhancements
- Experience in project planning and control of ongoing support and maintenance of projects
- Experience tracking, managing and escalating issues through to resolution
- Experience with the identification and mitigation of project risk
- Excellent communication skills with all levels of internal and client staff and management
- Ability to effectively communicate and articulate with technical and non-technical audiences
- Proficiency with project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Proficiency with tools that facilitate and promote team interaction and collaboration (e.g., Skype for Business, WebEx, Basecamp, SharePoint)
- Strong interpersonal and management skills with an excellent attention to detail
- A strong ethical foundation, capable of thriving in an environment and culture where honesty, integrity, and accountability are core values
- A collaborative spirit, a team orientation, and a willingness and desire to contribute to the success of others
- Ability to focus on high quality work under pressure
- Travel to client locations within the US
