Job Summary
Banquet Set-up Houseperson who will set up, refresh, tear down and maintain all banquet spaces; responsible for ensuring correct and timely setup of Banquet Event Order functions including Audio Visual setup; maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout banquet spaces and storage areas; transport and store tables, chairs and other equipment; refresh meeting rooms as needed; work evenings and weekends; starting rate $18/hour; benefits include PTO, 401(k) match, health/dental/vision, EAP, life/AD&D, disability benefits, employee meals; experience in a hotel or related field preferred; high school diploma or equivalent preferred; heavy physical work required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a hotel or related field preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Heavy work - exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Ensure the correct and timely set up of all Banquet Event Order functions; including Audio Visual set up
- Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the banquet function space, pre-function space and storage areas
- Breakdown after completion of functions and ensure that all equipment and supplies are stored properly
- Transport and store tables, chairs and other equipment
- Refresh meeting rooms as needed
