Job Summary

Conference Services Event Planner responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing high-level conferences for prominent clients. Manages logistics such as meeting space, room setup, catering, audiovisual needs, and participant travel; prepares registration reports; develops conference websites; collaborates with marketing on invitations, brochures, and signage; independently plans smaller events (10–50 attendees) including venue selection and on-site coordination; develops budgets and post-event recaps; sources venues nationwide and maintains vendor/internal relationships; requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years of meeting planning experience with strong communication and organizational skills.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
  • 3+ years of meeting planning experience preferred
  • Financial services industry experience preferred
  • Advanced computer proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook (mail merges, database usage)
  • Strong grammar, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Ability to manage peak workloads and multiple priorities
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Willingness to travel ~20% (travel approximately 20%), including trips up to one week at a time
