Job Summary
Research relevant business and legal issues for high-quality conferences targeting the legal market. Develop programs and source content for events, including writing agendas and confirming speakers. Responsible for onsite delivery and management of events across Asia, managing relationships with speakers and partners, and identifying market opportunities. Overall marketing of the event involves arranging email campaigns, garnering sponsorship, and collaborating with teams across Thomson Reuters Asia. Plan and execute meetings and trade shows while supporting corporate priorities and initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a conference, event or research role
- Educated to degree level or higher
- Strong research abilities
- Ability to manage entire projects at scale and/or portfolios
- Knowledge of the legal industry in SE Asia (beneficial but not essential)
