Conductor Trainee responsible for learning and supporting train operations, signaling interpretation, track switching, and car inspections within a safety-sensitive railroad environment. Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to report for duty at the designated work location
- Ability to work safely in the stated working conditions
- Ability to work the stated shifts/hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to travel as required
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds
- Ability to identify, interpret and use hand signals
- Ability to distinguish colors and see in low light
- Ability to use hand tools and work with equipment
- Ability to climb/descend ladders and get on/off equipment
- Ability to work at various heights and in uneven surfaces
- Ability to sit/stand with breaks
- Follow safety policies and use PPE
- Union membership and seniority considerations per agreement
- Travel/recall obligations related to location
