Job Summary
Supervise all concrete activities at local job sites, directing foremen to ensure projects complete on time and on budget while meeting quality and safety standards. Communicate consistently with owners and owner's representatives, resolve conflicts to minimize delays, and instruct field staff on essential processes and procedures. Plan field activities including construction methods, manpower, material quantities, equipment, and schedules in coordination with office staff. Participate in Level 10 meetings and apply industry best practices to solve problems as they arise.
Required Qualifications
- At least five (5) years in concrete or heavy civil construction
- Creative and results-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency and self-motivation
- Excellent computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheets
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely in a positive manner with team members
- Travel is required for this position
- Travel may include, but is not limited to, travel from office to various job sites
- Must be able to work in office and field settings
- Must be able to work in high/low temperatures
- Must be able to work in areas close to traffic
- Must be able to work in loud and frequent noises
- Must be able to work in confined spaces
- Must be able to work at heights
- Must be able to work in indoor/outdoor settings
- Must be able to understand and apply the Company's labor relations policies
- Must be able to communicate and uphold the Company's commitment to Integrity and Code of Ethics
