Concrete Substation Laborer

Job Summary
Assist crews with site preparation, grading, excavation support, and material handling for electrical substation construction. Set, brace, and strip concrete forms while installing and tying reinforcing steel according to project specifications. Support concrete placement, consolidation, finishing, and curing activities, including loading and unloading construction materials. Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently, and perform general labor duties such as digging, trench cleanup, and maintaining a clean jobsite. Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE while working closely with foremen and craft personnel. This role requires a high school diploma, previous construction experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds outdoors in varying weather conditions. Valid driver's license preferred.

Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Concrete or heavy civil construction experience preferred
- Experience with concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete placement, or foundation work is a plus
- Knowledge of basic construction tools and equipment
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic construction math
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
