Job Summary
Place, finish, protect, repair, rub, and patch concrete on commercial construction projects. Perform architectural concrete wall patching and rubbing to achieve specified appearance and finish requirements. Set forms, inspect them for proper alignment, and spread, level, and smooth concrete using rakes, trowels, and screeds. Monitor weather conditions to adjust curing methods and cut out damaged areas while installing reinforcing steel and fixtures. Mix materials to produce concrete, grout, or slurry. Maintain quality standards including a 1/8" flatness tolerance over 10'-0". Follow all project safety requirements and company policies. Minimum 3 years of commercial concrete finishing experience required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of commercial concrete finishing experience
- Experience rubbing and patching architectural concrete walls
- Experience with concrete placement and finishing operations
- Ability to achieve flatness tolerances of 1/8" over 10'-0"
- Must meet all project-specific security requirements
- Ability to work safely in a commercial construction environment and perform physically demanding tasks
