Job Summary
Manage client relationships and project planning services from contract initiation through warranty, including estimating, scheduling, and value engineering. Establish project goals for schedule, safety, and accounting while overseeing timely processing of contract documents, bulletins, and change orders. Define staffing requirements, develop work plans, and establish subcontract agreements for trade contractors to ensure quality and safety compliance. Compile and analyze monthly financial information to evaluate fund usage and execute contractual risk protections regarding Builder's Risk Insurance. Operate full-time with occasional extended hours and weekends in the Sterling, Virginia region.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or other relevant course work
- Five (5) or more years of work experience in construction or related job field
- Intermediate computer knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Equivalent combination of the above education, training, and experience
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
- Successful completion of pre-employment screening, including but not limited to drug and background screening
