Job Summary
Operate jackhammer, forklift, and bobcat to support concrete product manufacturing (wall panels, highway barriers, columns, and sound walls). Set up and adjust beds and forms per drawings, lay out bed dimensions, and ensure correct bed heat and dunnage. Cut and install wood block outs, grind and finish panels, and maintain equipment according to the Fabcon Way with emphasis on safety, first-time quality, and efficiency. Must read tapes and blueprints, communicate effectively, work overtime as needed, and troubleshoot as part of a collaborative team.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read tape measure, cast book and blue prints
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to operate machinery safely
- Ability to work extensive overtime when required
- Trouble shooting skills
- Knowledge of concrete mixes
- Mathematical aptitude
