Concrete Placer & Finisher

Job Summary
Conduct concrete placing and finishing for slabs, footpaths, and civil works, including kerb and channel repair, hand kerbing, and formwork installation. Perform site preparation, concrete reinstatement, and general civil construction duties as required. Work alongside an experienced foreman in a supportive team environment with ongoing projects. Schedule includes usual 7:00am starts, with occasional early shifts between 3:00am and 6:00am. Requires Class 2 licence, WTR endorsement, and ability to pass drug test and criminal record check. Role offers competitive pay, temp-to-perm opportunity, and ASAP start with a well-established civil contractor.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience placing and finishing concrete
- Ability to box, screed, and finish concrete to a high standard
- Reliable
- Physically fit
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to pass drug test
- Ability to pass criminal record check
- Right to work in New Zealand
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with kerb and channel works
- Class 2 licence
