Job Summary
Operate GOMACO GP3, GP-2800, and Commander III paving equipment to construct transportation infrastructure while maintaining proper line, grade, elevation, and surface quality. Set up, monitor, and adjust machinery to meet project specifications for thickness and finish, performing daily inspections and routine preventive maintenance. Troubleshoot operational issues, coordinate with survey crews and supervisors, and complete required production documentation. This safety-sensitive position involves frequent travel across multiple states and extended hours based on project schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of concrete paving or slipform paving experience
- Experience operating GOMACO GP3, GP-2800, and/or Commander III equipment
- Knowledge of concrete paving operations, grade control systems, and highway construction practices
- Ability to read construction plans and interpret survey markings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel extensively in support of project needs
- Ability to work extended hours based on project schedules and operational demands
- Safety Sensitive Position status
