Job Summary
Operate a concrete mixer truck on public streets and highways and construction sites to transport and deliver concrete material with minimal direct supervision. Perform pre/post trip vehicle inspections, secure loads, and conduct quality control checks on concrete mix consistencies. Climb vehicles using ladders to inspect and perform repairs, lift equipment, wash trucks, and keep mixer drums free from debris. Maintain contact with managers via radio or GPS to report delays, and keep operator logs and documentation compliant with regulations. Work long, flexible hours including nights, weekends, and extended periods outside during all seasons while complying with all company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B North Carolina Driver's license
- Good driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 21 years of age or older
- Current medical examination certificate with card
- Dependable transportation
- Ability to lift over 80 pounds
- Ability to work around noise, dust, heat, cold, oil, and heavy equipment
- Ability to exchange ideas quickly and clearly
- Ability to receive and evaluate detailed information and instructions
- Must be able and willing to work overtime if needed
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and outside for extended periods during all seasons of the year
- Must be able to work long, flexible hours as demanded by our customer's including nights, weekends, and work outside for extended periods during all seasons of the year

Desired Qualifications
