Job Summary
Concrete Mixer Driver responsible for operating mixer trucks to receive sand, gravel, cement, and water, loading and unloading concrete, and ensuring proper truck maintenance and cleanliness. Must meet FMCSA/H&K Safety policies, have a Class B CDL, a good driving record, and at least 1 year of tri-axle driving experience. Must be able to work nights and weekends, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and use PPE; duties include driving to locations for unloading, releasing concrete into containers or areas, and maintaining logs and truck cleanliness. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in outside conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED)
- Class B CDL
- Good driving record
- 1 year of experience tri-axle driver
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Able and willing to work nights and weekends, and be adaptable to start time and schedule based on business needs
- Problem solving
- Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed
