Job Summary
Ready-mix concrete truck driver responsible for safely driving to job sites, delivering loads, estimating slump, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, and maintaining equipment. Must adhere to DOT/OSHA regulations, communicate with dispatch, assist other employees as needed, and ensure accurate delivery to customers while maintaining safety and cleanliness of the truck and work area.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Texas issued commercial driver's license (CDL A or B)
- Be at least 18 years of age
- MVR must be cleared - No DUI's or DWI's in the last 5 years
- No refusals or positive drug screen results in the last 5 years
- No more than 2 moving violations in the previous 3 years
- Must be registered with the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
- Physical requirements including walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing
- Exerting 50-100 pounds of force occasionally; 25-50 pounds frequently; 10-20 pounds continually
- Must pass DOT physical including back x-ray, hearing test and drug/alcohol screen
- Continuous exposure to extreme heat/cold/noise and outdoor work
- Must wear protective equipment; adhere to DOT and OSHA rules and regulations
- Meet or exceed company safety standards
