Concrete Mixer Driver

Job Summary
Drive ready-mix concrete truck to various job sites, safely deliver loads, and communicate directions with plant personnel and dispatch. Responsibilities include estimating slump, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, ensuring safe and compliant operation under DOT and OSHA rules, maintaining equipment cleanliness, assisting other employees as needed, and handling routine minor roadside repairs. Requires ability to lift 35–50 pounds, work outdoors in extreme conditions, and adhere to safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Texas commercial driver's license (CDL A or B)
- Be at least 18 years of age
- MVR must be cleared - No DUI's or DWI's in the last 5 years
- No refusals or positive drug screen results in the last 5 years
- No more than 2 moving violations in the previous 3 years
- Must be registered with the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
- Physical requirements including lifting 25-100 pounds as specified
- Must pass DOT physical including back x-ray, hearing test and drug/alcohol screen
