Job Summary
Concrete Mixer Driver needed to safely operate a ready-mix truck, deliver loads to job sites, and adhere to DOT/OSHA regulations. Responsibilities include performing pre/post-trip inspections, verifying delivery directions, maintaining equipment cleanliness, coordinating with dispatch, and meeting customer expectations. Requires lifting of 35-50 pound extension chutes, valid Texas CDL A or B, FMCSA Clearinghouse registration, and ability to work outdoors in varied conditions. Must pass DOT physical and comply with safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Texas issued commercial driver's license (CDL A or B)
- Be at least 18 years of age
- MVR must be cleared - No DUI's or DWI's in the last 5 years
- No refusals or positive drug screen results in the last 5 years
- No more than 2 moving violations in the previous 3 years
- Must be registered with the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
- Physical requirements as listed (lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, etc.)
- Must pass DOT physical including back x-ray, hearing test and drug/alcohol screen
- Must wear protective equipment while on the job
- Exerting specific force requirements as described
- Must be able to perform all job functions including maneuvering and operating truck equipment
- Comply with DOT and OSHA rules and regulations at all times
- Meet or exceed company safety standards
- Drive to and from destination while following DOT driving regulations and area roads
