Job Summary
Primary responsibility is to drive a ready-mix truck to job sites and safely deliver loads, including lifting and attaching extension chutes (35-50 lbs). Responsibilities include adhering to DOT driving regulations, inspecting loads, estimating concrete slump, confirming delivery directions with plant personnel, meeting customer expectations, maintaining equipment cleanliness, communicating with dispatch, performing pre/post trip inspections, and complying with safety standards under OSHA and company rules. Must possess a valid Texas CDL (A or B), be at least 18, pass DOT physical and drug/alcohol screen, and meet FMCSA Clearinghouse requirements; physical demands include lifting and exerting up to 100 lbs, working outdoors, and operating in variable conditions. Location: San Marcos, TX.
Required Qualifications
- -valid Texas CDL A or B
- 18 years or older
- MVR clear; no DUI/DWI in last 5 years
- FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse registration
- no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years
- pass DOT physical including back x-ray, hearing test, drug/alcohol screen
