Job Summary
READY MIX DRIVER drives concrete mixer to job sites and safely delivers loads in varied conditions. Responsibilities include safely operating the ready-mix truck, adhering to DOT regulations and company safety standards, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, verifying delivery directions with plant personnel, maintaining equipment cleanliness, communicating with supervisor/dispatch, assisting coworkers, and potentially performing minor roadside repairs while maintaining knowledge of local traffic routes.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Texas issued commercial driver's license (CDL A or B)
- Be at least 18 years of age
- MVR must be cleared - No DUI's or DWI's in the last 5 years
- No refusals or positive drug screen results in the last 5 years
- No more than 2 moving violations in the previous 3 years
- Must be registered with the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
