Job Summary
Ready-mix truck delivery role requiring safe operation of concrete mixer trucks, adherence to DOT/OSHA regulations, and accurate delivery to customers. Responsibilities include driving to job sites, inspecting loads, estimating slump, coordinating with plant personnel, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, performing pre/post trip inspections, and any required minor roadside repairs. Must be able to lift 35-50 pounds, pass a DOT physical (including back x-ray, hearing test, and drug/alcohol screen), and meet safety standards. Strong emphasis on following routes, delivering loads correctly, and maintaining communications with dispatch.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Texas issued commercial driver's license (CDL A or B)
- Be at least 18 years of age
- MVR - No DUI's or DWI's in the last 5 years, no more than 2 moving violations in the previous 3 years
