Job Summary
Support concrete crews with site preparation, form setup, rebar placement, pouring, and finishing support on heavy civil and infrastructure projects. Prepare and clean job sites before and after pours, including grading, compacting, and material staging. Load, unload, and transport tools, forms, and reinforcement materials while operating hand and power tools. Assist with setting and stripping forms, tying rebar, and installing embeds or anchor bolts. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and wearing appropriate PPE. Work closely with foremen and finishers to ensure quality standards, adapt to changing site conditions, and drive continuous improvement in concrete operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in construction
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to follow directions
- Ability to work independently or as part of a crew
- Willingness to work overtime
- Willingness to work weekends
- Willingness to travel
Desired Qualifications
- Concrete or heavy civil experience
- Basic understanding of concrete processes (forming, pouring, finishing, curing)
