Concrete Grading Laborer

Job Summary
The LABORER GRADING CONCRETE supports grading crews on heavy construction projects by performing strenuous manual labor and assisting with grading preparation, site development, and material handling. Responsibilities include preparing job sites, working on the ground to support grading and paving operations, assisting foremen, superintendents, equipment operators, and truck drivers, operating hand tools and small motorized equipment, assisting with heavy equipment when directed and trained, loading/unloading materials, inspecting and maintaining tools and machinery, reporting problems, maintaining a clean and safe job site, and participating in safety meetings and training. The role requires strong communication with operators, truck drivers, and fellow laborers, adherence to safety policies, and flexibility to perform other duties as assigned. Must travel to various job sites and be able to perform physical tasks in outdoor construction environments.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Six (6) months to one (1) year related experience is preferred
- A valid driver's license and a clean motor-vehicle record preferred.
- Passing a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background check is required.
