Job Summary
A Concrete Foreman will oversee a concrete project and manage a crew of 3-10 employees, ensuring a safe and efficient workplace. Responsibilities include coordinating tasks, scheduling, supervising machinery use, and maintaining communication with the Job Superintendent. The Foreman is also responsible for daily reporting, quality standards, and resolving on-site conflicts. Must have 5+ years in concrete construction and prior management experience, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in the concrete construction industry
- Prior experience managing 5 or more employees on a job site
- Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints and convey this information to others
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- CPR required
