Job Summary
Lead and supervise concrete crews performing formwork, reinforcing steel coordination, concrete placement, and finishing activities on municipal water and wastewater structures. Plan daily work activities to meet production goals, interpret construction drawings, and coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, and inspectors. Verify layout, elevations, and alignment before placement, monitor quality and curing, and enforce OSHA regulations through daily safety meetings. Mentor craft employees, resolve field issues, and maintain production records. Requires 5+ years of heavy civil concrete experience and supervisory background.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of heavy civil concrete experience, including supervisory experience
- Experience constructing municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities
- Strong knowledge of cast-in-place concrete methods, formwork systems, reinforcing steel, embeds, and water-retaining structures
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules
- Experience coordinating multiple crews and subcontractors
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Capable of accessing equipment and uneven terrain
- Standing, walking, and climbing as needed
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
