Job Summary
Foreman at Fessler & Bowman will lead a concrete crew on commercial projects, ensuring on-time completion with strict adherence to safety guidelines. Responsibilities include daily logs and timesheets in Procore, communicating production goals, assigning duties, conducting toolbox talks, reviewing drawings and elevations, validating quantities, coordinating materials/subcontractors, managing T&M/change orders, organizing demobilization, overseeing quality of work, and supervising 6+ crew members. The role requires travel to surrounding job sites, OSHA 30 certification, and strong communication and coaching abilities to uphold project safety and company ethics. Travel and per diem are provided as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Concrete Foreman experience
- OSHA 30 certification
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record preferred
- Experience leading crews of 6+ people while completing tasks: direct forming and pouring, ensure forms are straightened/plumbed/squared/aligned with grid lines, correct maintenance of elevation lines, ensure concrete poured at correct rate, consolidated, vibrated properly
- Safety attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to job coach
- Travel to surrounding job sites; per diem for travel and overnight stays if applicable
- Ability to identify and correct unsafe acts
- Able to oversee construction projects from beginning to end and coordinate workers without supervision
