Job Summary
Place, vibrate, chip, and repair concrete on active construction sites while performing clean-up and preparation tasks. Supervise helpers and execute high-quality finishing work with proper compaction. Demonstrate exceptional skill and leadership to qualify for promotion to Foreman. Requires stamina to climb, kneel, balance, and lift up to 50 pounds or a 92-pound cement bag. Must possess good vision, physical stamina, and the ability to estimate size and dimensions accurately.
Required Qualifications
- Strong interest in the construction industry with a willingness to work hard and learn
- Good skills with hand and power tools
- Basic math skills and knowledge of mixing compounds
- General construction experience or willingness to undergo on-the-job training
- Attention to detail and adherence to set standards and rules
- Stamina, motivation, and a positive attitude
- Must be able to climb, kneel, balance, crouch, crawl, and reach
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds or a 92-pound cement bag with assistance
- Requires good vision, physical stamina, and the ability to estimate size and dimensions accurately
