Job Summary
Concrete Finisher needed to join Conco Construction in Wichita, KS. Responsibilities include placing and finishing concrete using hand and power tools, setting forms for slabs, foundations, sidewalks, curbing and paving, and tying rebar for foundations, slabs and walls. Must be able to lift 50+ pounds, work outdoors, and perform tasks that involve walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling. Additional duties may be assigned based on experience. All offers require passing a background check, drug screen, and physical capacity test. Typical hours are 7am-4pm (seasonal adjustments), and employees must provide their own transportation to job site. Required Qualifications
- Place and finish concrete using a variety of hand and power tools
- Set forms for all concrete applications including slabs foundations sidewalks curbing paving
- Set forms maintaining proper control (grade and line)
- Tie rebar for foundations slabs and walls
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds or greater occasionally and 25-50 pounds frequently
- Must be able to work outdoors and stand for majority of the day
- Must be able to perform tasks while walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling
- All offers conditioned by background check, drug screen and physical capacity test
- Ability to work outside normal operating hours (7am-4pm etc)
- Transportation to job site by employee
- Tools will be provided by candidate
