Concrete Construction Manager

Job Summary
Conduct pre-pour site walks to identify constructability risks, access constraints, and unforeseen conditions. Partner with Project Management and Pre-Construction teams to review technical specifications for equipment pads, cement foundations, and concrete aprons. Oversee material ordering to ensure takeoffs are correct and within budget, while inspecting forms and rebar before pours. As field leader, supervise pouring and finishing activities to ensure quality and craftsmanship, operating lulls, skid steers, and excavators as required. Coordinate with customer quality teams, third-party inspectors, and batch plants on pour days to verify concrete meets specifications and passes slump tests. Maintain accountability for quality documentation submitted through Procore and lead crews and subcontractors to manage daily field operations.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in field construction leadership, site supervision, or foreman-level responsibilities specifically related to concrete foundations and flat work
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, including structural, civil, and landscaping plans
- Demonstrated ability to lead crews and subcontractors, manage daily field operations, and maintain productivity and quality standards
- Working knowledge of safety practices, JSA processes, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Ability to read and interpret Bills of Material (BOM) and material takeoffs
- Proficiency with construction management tools such as Procore, Traqspera, or similar platforms
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with Project Managers, General Superintendents, Site Coordinators, and customer representatives
- Ability to conduct site assessments, maintain documentation, and support inspections and permitting processes
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel between job sites as required
- Experience mentoring craft labor and junior field leaders
- Strong understanding of concrete specifications and materials
- OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, or other relevant safety certifications
- Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, and walk for long periods
- Must be capable of working in hot, cold, or wet conditions
- Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs
- Must be physically capable of digging and back-filling trenches
- Must be authorized to work in the United States (E-Verify)
