Job Summary
The Construction Intern supports both the planning and execution phases of concrete construction projects, gaining hands-on experience in formwork design, project estimating, scheduling, and safety tracking. The role involves assisting with formwork layout drawings, preparing quantity surveys and project proposals, and coordinating material purchases. Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field and possess knowledge of AutoCAD, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- In the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree
- Some knowledge of AutoCAD and/or BIM Modeling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to travel and work for an extended period of time on projects outside of office area
