Job Summary
The Construction Intern supports concrete construction projects through planning and execution, gaining hands-on experience in formwork design, project estimating, scheduling, and safety tracking. Responsibilities include preparing formwork layout drawings, assisting with quantity surveys and project proposals, and coordinating material purchases. The role requires a candidate pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, alongside knowledge of AutoCAD or BIM modeling, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- In the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree
Desired Qualifications
- Some knowledge of AutoCAD and/or BIM Modeling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to travel and work for an extended period of time on projects outside of office area
