Job Summary
Perform a variety of carpentry tasks associated with prepping, pouring, placing, and finishing concrete. Build and/or assemble wood or metal forms for concrete floors, slabs, walls, columns, tilt-walls, elevated slabs, elevator cores, stairways, etc. Set and place forms to proper elevations and locations; may aid in installing reinforcing steel. Erect forms using diverse materials and forming systems (primarily symon forms); verify structural accuracy with plumb bob, carpenter's level, laser or digital transit. Erect scaffolding and ladders; communicate with Foreman/PM regarding issues, materials, or safety hazards. Ensure equipment is in safe working condition; assist with concrete placement as needed; observe safety policies. Perform other duties as assigned.
