Concrete/Carpenter Positions

Concrete/Laborer, Form Setter, and Concrete Finisher roles within MGC Contractors’ Texas Division (San Antonio/New Braunfels area). Responsibilities include spreading and fining concrete in forms, mixing cement with hoe or mixer, breaking and repairing concrete surfaces with pneumatic tools, cleaning and organizing job sites, fine-grading soil, selecting and transporting tools/materials, erecting/installing built-in or prefabricated forms per blueprint specs using hand tools, plum rule and level, inserting spreaders and tie rods, anchoring and bracing forms, sawing and nailing form panels, directing concrete delivery and placing concrete, leveling and finishing surfaces with screed, floats, power trowel, and patches; and performing any other duties as assigned. The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED, with 6 months to 1 year of related experience preferred; physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather and lift up to 50 pounds. Passing pre-employment drug screen is required.
