Job Summary
Oversee office customer interactions at Rockefeller Center, providing prompt information and expertise on the building and greater New York City area. Personalize services by anticipating requests and making dining, theater, tour, travel, and other arrangements for office customers. Host VIP Tours displaying familiarity with the site's history while maintaining extensive vendor contacts for ticketing and reservations. Collaborate with the Property Management team to drive customer engagement and develop resources for current event information. Manage daily operations including walking up to 8 hours and handling face-to-face and telephone inquiries with a professional attitude.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of Concierge experience
- Extensive knowledge of the local area, attractions, restaurants, and special exhibits
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle problems effectively, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving issues as necessary
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
- Comply with Tishman Speyer standards, policies, and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- An aptitude for guest service
- The willingness to adapt to a variety of customer service scenarios and operations
- Exceptional leadership skills
- Ability to walk for up to 8 hours at a time
- Onsite presence is required for this position
- Ability to travel between floors and buildings to effectively communicate with the team and customers
- May be required to perform work outside at times, under a variety of weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- preferably in a luxury hotel, resort or restaurant
- knowledge of ALICE is a plus
- Experience leading seasonal teams
