Job Summary
Concierge responsible for monitoring and ensuring the safety and security of The Alex building and its tenants; provides non-judgmental, positive interactions with tenants and guests; maintains relationships in line with Atira Women’s Resource Society policies; stays aware of local agencies to provide information to tenants; maintains confidentiality of the organization and residents; operates within a trauma-informed, culturally responsive framework to support a safe living environment for residents.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 10
- WHMIS certificate is an asset
- A valid First Aid Certificate is required
- Criminal records check required
- All positions subject to criminal records review
- Covid-19 & Annual Flu vaccinations recommended annually
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certificate is an asset
- Security Certificate is an asset
- A valid First Aid certificate (required)
- Experience: One (1) year recent related experience working as a concierge or security guard
