Job Summary
Greet residents, families, and visitors warmly while answering inquiries and coordinating appointments, transportation, and other services. Maintain facility amenities knowledge, manage incoming correspondence, resident records, and appointment schedules, and keep the concierge desk clean and stocked. Collaborate with staff to resolve issues, monitor security and safety, and uphold resident privacy and confidentiality. Report unusual incidents to appropriate personnel and assist with related tasks as needed. This role reports to the Executive Director at an assisted living facility.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Required Health Screening
- TB Clearance
- Criminal Record Clearance
- First Aid/CPR Certified
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or front desk role
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Proficiency in computer systems, including word processing, email, and database management
- Understanding principles of exceptional customer service
- Ability to provide a positive and welcoming experience for residents and visitors
- Knowledge of safety protocols, emergency protocols, and security measures
- Basic knowledge of administrative procedures, including managing schedules, coordinating appointments, and maintaining records
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to identify and address resident concerns or issues
- Ability to escalate matters as needed
- Ability to be flexible and adjust to changing circumstances, needs, and priorities
- Ability to maintain a professional and respectful demeanor
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to adhere to ethical standards in all interactions
- Ability to lift and carry light to moderate loads, such as packages and deliveries
Desired Qualifications
- Additional education or certification in hospitality or customer service
