Job Summary
Welcome guests with genuine warmth, offering local recommendations and insider knowledge of the Gold Coast. Arrange restaurant bookings, tours, transport, and tickets to local attractions and events. Manage luggage services, valet coordination, and other arrival and departure logistics. Respond promptly to guest requests, resolving issues or escalating where required to ensure a great outcome. Maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities, promotions, and the wider Gold Coast area. Liaise with front office, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience. Maintain a well-presented concierge desk and lobby area at all times. Uphold hotel policies, procedures, and WH&S guidelines. Requires rotating roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a concierge, guest services, or similar customer-facing hospitality role
- Strong local knowledge of the Gold Coast
- Excellent communication skills
- A confident, professional manner
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to guest requests
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to stay composed during busy periods
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster
- Flexibility to work evenings
- Flexibility to work weekends
- Flexibility to work public holidays
Desired Qualifications
