Job Summary
The Concierge greets visitors and fulfills resident requests, arranges tours of the property, answers a multi-line telephone, and provides clerical support to administrative staff. Requires 18+ and a high school diploma or equivalent; hospitality experience preferred. Candidates should have excellent customer service, be proficient with MS Office, and able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals. Responsibilities include delivering exceptional service to residents, guests, and visitors, managing phone calls, monitoring the Emergency Alert System, handling mail, and maintaining a safe environment in accordance with safety standards; teamwork with other departments is encouraged. Health screening and background checks are required, and vaccination/PPE may be mandated per regulatory guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prefer two (2) years of experience in a hospitality setting or prior senior living community
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
- Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
