Job Summary
Interact with residents, families, and visitors while answering phones, greeting guests, and addressing inquiries about the community. Provide compassionate support by responding to resident requests, assisting with scheduling new hires, and routing mail. Perform housekeeping and dining room duties, assist with new employee training, and ensure safety compliance by reporting hazards and following emergency protocols. Maintain HIPAA regulations and adhere to established policies while wearing appropriate dress.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Less than one year related experience or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
