Job Summary
Answer phones, greet residents and visitors, and assist with scheduling new hires. Route mail, type correspondence, and ensure residents sign out when leaving the community. Provide dining room assistance and perform housekeeping or laundry duties as needed. Address resident requests promptly while maintaining HIPAA compliance and reporting safety hazards. Assist the Business Office Manager and train new employees when required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Less than one year related experience or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
