Job Summary
Provide front-desk guest services and hospitality support: process guest check-ins, verify identity, manage forms of payment, assign rooms and issue room keys, set up guest accounts including Marriott Rewards information, ensure rate accuracy, document billing exceptions, and secure payments. Compile and review daily reports and cashiering/closing procedures; balance and secure cash, prepare daily logs, and handle various payment types, vouchers, and charges. Assist guests with directions and property information, respond to guest requests by coordinating with appropriate staff, and follow up to ensure needs are met. Support training, evaluation, coaching, and supervision of team members, uphold Open Door policy and Fair Treatment, maintain confidentiality, protect company assets, and ensure safety compliance. Operate computers/POS systems, provide professional communication (spoken and written), and be able to stand or move for extended periods. Demonstrate hospitality, attention to service quality, and adherence to company policies; accommodate guests including those with disabilities and maintain professional appearance. Location is Tokyo, Japan.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience
- Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience
- License or Certification: None
