Job Summary
Collaborate with Admissions and Nursing to prepare rooms for new residents, ensuring all equipment is operational and lighting, call bells, and TVs function correctly. Personally greet and escort new residents, assemble welcome baskets, and offer emotional support while answering call bells to ensure needs are met. Coordinate room transitions between short-term rehab and long-term care, distribute discharge gift bags, and monitor scheduled smoking sessions. Complete follow-up forms within 48 hours of admission and email daily progress reports to track concerns. Provide tours during off-hours and receive resident complaints through the grievance process. Build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff while attending in-service trainings and meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Strong decision-making and communication skills
- Comfortable with computers, office equipment, and learning new systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
