Job Summary
Operate lodge vehicles to transport guests safely to medical appointments and community resources while managing check-in/out and providing information on amenities. Coordinate transportation schedules for timely pick-ups and drop-offs, conduct daily vehicle inspections, and maintain accurate mileage logs. Respond to guest requests and emergencies, support front desk operations including lobby security, and assist guests with mobility challenges and luggage. Requires a valid driver's license, defensive driving skills, and ability to navigate efficiently within the approved service area. Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm at a rate of 19.50ph.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience providing passenger transport or shuttle services
- Previous hospitality or guest service experience
- Defensive driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws
- Ability to navigate efficiently and maintain punctual schedules
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with guests and caregivers
- Ability to assist guests with mobility challenges and luggage safely
- Attention to detail for vehicle safety checks and accurate record-keeping
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and reservation systems
- Monday - Friday - 7:30am - 4:00pm schedule
- Role involves frequent local travel in Lodge Vehicles to and from medical facilities and destinations within approved service area
- The role may require extended periods of standing and walking, particularly during front desk duties and while assisting guests
- Occasional lifting and moving of luggage, packages, or other items may be necessary when assisting guests with check-in, check-out, or transportation
- Driving guests to appointments may involve sitting for extended periods and operating a vehicle, which requires physical coordination and stamina
- Some manual tasks, such as carrying luggage or opening doors for guests, may be required during guest interactions
- The role may involve physical endurance to handle the demands of a fast-paced environment, including managing multiple tasks and assisting guests throughout the day
Desired Qualifications
- Experience providing passenger transport or shuttle services preferred
- Previous hospitality or guest service experience is a plus
