Job Summary
Answer multi-line telephone calls to direct inquiries and greet families, residents, guests, and vendors with a smile. Maintain outside visitor logs, monitor community access, and assist residents with scheduling transportation, activities, or appointments. Support management with administrative tasks including data entry, scheduling, light clerical work, ordering office supplies, and completing work order requests. Address resident concerns or questions, escalating issues to management as necessary. Requires at least 6-12 months of customer service or front desk experience, proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook, and availability for flexible shifts including weekends and holidays. This role serves as the first point of contact within Cogir Senior Living's network of communities, fostering a welcoming environment for all visitors.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 6-12 months of previous customer service or front desk experience in a hotel, retirement community, or office setting
- Working knowledge of various computer systems, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Patience and willingness to assist our residents, visitors, and team members
- Friendly, assertive, professional, outgoing, multitasked, and organized
- Excellent communication skills
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
