Job Summary
Gain in-depth knowledge of Big Sky Resort and the surrounding area to confidently recommend and sell activities, while personally experiencing resort and vendor-offered activities to provide genuine recommendations. Deliver timely, accurate, and personalized responses to guest requests, whether they arrive weeks ahead or as spur-of-the-moment stops at the desk, by crafting memorable "magic moments" that enhance each vacation. Work independently at a one-person desk, exercising sound judgment while staying calm under pressure to multitask and make every guest feel fully attended to. Communicate effectively with guests, vendors, and team members, leveraging strong time management and anticipation skills. This role supports the Concierge team in curating exceptional experiences for Big Sky Resort guests, offering full-time seasonal employment with benefits including free all-mountain ski passes and lodging discounts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift, push or pull at least 30 pounds
- Must be able to work on your feet at least 8 hours
- Must be able to climb stairs multiple times per shift
Desired Qualifications
- College degree
- Familiarity with the Big Sky area
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Willingness and ability to learn resort-specific systems including RTP and SMS
- Passion for hospitality
- Curiosity for the region
- Proactive, guest-focused attitude
