Job Summary
The Concierge role at AX The Verdala focuses on delivering personalised, high-quality service to guests, assisting with reservations, transportation, and tailored recommendations. Responsibilities include providing accurate information on local attractions, dining, and hotel services; handling guest needs efficiently; using booking systems to manage arrangements; coordinating with internal departments to fulfill requests; maintaining professionalism, discretion, and service consistency; supporting Front Office operations to ensure seamless experiences; and upholding 5-star service standards in all guest interactions. The position requires minimum 2 years of similar experience, proficiency with reservation systems, weekend/holiday shift flexibility, English fluency, strong local knowledge of attractions and activities, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role within a 5-star hotel or Forbes Travel Guide-rated establishment.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the same position.
- Proficiency with booking/reservation systems.
- Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset.
- Strong local knowledge of attractions, dining, and activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
